Angkan is now on Facebook. The first family name we have set up as a group is Cayabyab.
We hope to set up more family names and follow this with a campaign.
Angkan on Facebook is in beta, but is functional and ready to accept fans. Why not visit and join us now and start searching your “long lost” relatives.

Site getting to be more interesting. There are also a number of Cayabyabs posting queries about the origin or meaning of their family name in The Origin of Filipino Family Names. Hope we can expand this to hear from others with different family names. Can we hear from the Aquinos, Macabulos, and others?
Do you also want to expand this site to link to social network sites and try to reach our kamag-anak?

We are currently renovating this site. We should be able to put the finishing touches (at least something to last for a few weeks!) within the next couple of days.
You can still register to post a blog or comment. By the way, we are using a WP themes from our favorite designers, Design Disease. Thanks to them.
